Welcome to Iyk-Don Global Ventures Limited. These Terms of Agreement (“Terms”) govern the professional relationship between Iyk-Don Global Ventures Limited (“the Company,” “we,” “us”) and the client (“the Client,” “you”) regarding the provision of electrical engineering, solar energy installation, and maintenance services.
By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
Iyk-Don Global Ventures Limited agrees to provide technical services as outlined in the specific Project Proposal or Service Quotation provided to the Client. Any additional work outside the initial scope will require a secondary agreement or a written change order and may incur additional costs.
2. QUOTATIONS AND PRICING
- All quotations are valid for a period of 7 days from the date of issuance, due to the fluctuating market costs of solar components and electrical materials.
- Prices quoted are based on the initial site assessment. If unforeseen technical challenges arise during the project (e.g., structural issues or hidden wiring faults), we reserve the right to adjust the pricing upon consultation with the Client.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
- Commitment Fee: A mobilization fee (typically 70% of the total project cost) is required before the procurement of materials and commencement of works.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the installation and successful testing of the system.
- Late Payments: Delayed payments may result in the suspension of ongoing project phases or maintenance support.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client agrees to:
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to the premises for our engineering team.
- Ensure all necessary permits or neighborhood approvals (where applicable) are secured prior to the commencement of work.
- Provide a secure location for the storage of materials and tools delivered to the site during the project duration.
5. WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE
- Workmanship: We provide a 6-month warranty on our installation workmanship.
- Product Warranty: Warranties for specific products (Solar Panels, Inverters, Batteries) are provided by the respective manufacturers. The Company will assist the Client in processing manufacturer warranty claims but is not directly liable for equipment manufacturing defects.
- Maintenance: Systems require regular professional maintenance. Neglect, unauthorized tampering, or repairs attempted by third-party technicians will void the Iyk-Don Global Ventures Limited workmanship warranty.
6. SAFETY AND LIABILITY
- Iyk-Don Global Ventures Limited adheres to strict safety protocols. We are not liable for damages resulting from the Client’s misuse of equipment, overloading of inverter systems, or external factors such as lightning strikes or grid-related power surges beyond the control of our installed protection devices.
- The Client must not attempt to modify the system wiring or battery configurations without professional supervision from our team.
7. PROJECT TIMELINES
We aim to complete all projects within the estimated timeframe. However, the Company is not liable for delays caused by extreme weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or delays in site access provided by the Client.
8. TERMINATION OF SERVICE
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches these Terms. In the event of termination by the Client after materials have been procured, the mobilization fee is non-refundable.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled through professional mediation or in the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
